-- on not connecting with enough people to relate to in the DC/MD area (I too am a transplant). In my experience, the "general" vibe from people in DC/PGC was often cold, snobby and/or superficial. However, don't let the fake types discourage you; there are some really genuine people in the DMV (leaning toward Baltimore city/county, IMHO).
