You live close and seem interested in learning more Tai Chi, yet no RSVP's in six weeks, and you have not attended a meeting to date. Authentic Tai Chi cannot be learned from a DVD, because of what is on the Web and DVDs' in mostly watered down and fake Tai Chi. Yang family TAi Chi was founded by Yang, Lu Chan in around the 1840's. Yang, Cheng Fu was his nephew.
If you do not know of these two people, than I don't know who taught you. I can tell that whatever you learned before was not authentiuc Tai Chi, and it is worthless to learn from DVD's, Be careful and don't waist your money with the many fakes on the WEb and on DVD's
