Free Photo Webinars will focus on travel photojournalism on Jan. 10, 2012 with guest speaker Lee Foster.
Lee Foster is an award-winning travel photojournalist who has published on 250 worldwide destinations, but when it comes to photographing Washington, D.C., he wrote the book. And the app. And the articles.
Lee published The Photographer’s Guide to Washington DC and an app in the Apple iTune store titled Washington DC Travel Photo Guide.
He publishes articles and photos about Washington, DC on his website www.fostertravel.com, and you can find 373 images of Washington, DC at http://stockphotos.fostertravel.com.
Lee’s photos and articles from around the world earned him one of the highest awards in travel journalism. He was named Lowell Thomas Travel Journalist of the Year, Silver Winner, by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation. He has also won seven other individual Lowell Thomas awards for this content.
Lee will talk about his work as a travel photojournalist and show his photos from his book, app, and articles.

Tina HayI gave it one star (though the interface on my screen makes it look like I gave it four?). I bailed out after about 20 minutes or so. It was slow and unfocused. The guy seemed to have no idea how to be useful to the audience, and seemed to have given no thought to what we might want to learn about. What little advice I did glean was extremely basic (e.g., "make sure your batteries are charged." I've attended several of your other free webinars and learned a lot; this one was just a bust as far as I was concerned. Sometimes that happens, I realize.

Kim ThomasI liked the information, but found it near painful to listen. Mr. Foster tended to repeat himself several times within an answer. Perhaps more questions or material could have been covered otherwise.
