PhotoTour Excursions is holding its first Deaf/Hard of Hearing PhotoTour on Sept. 18, 2010. There’s no easier way to learn photography than taking pictures with a professional photographer guiding you along the way. Taking those pictures while touring DC’s favorite locations makes it even more fun and entertaining.
Now PhotoTour Excursions wants to offer the same opportunity to our friends in the Deaf/HH family. Each tour will be staffed with an interpreter (and an instructor who knows basic-level ASL). You’ll also be at home with exclusively Deaf/Hard of Hearing attendees.
What’s Included
On PhotoTour Excursions walking workshops, a professional photographer provides structured and personal information on improving photography skills with our 10 Steps to Great Pictures. Rounding out the experience is a brief discussion of the background and cultural significance of the photography locations.
Typical Agenda
- Pre-excursion bonus - Intro to the Camera -- What do all those buttons do, anyway?

* How do you get spot on-exposure every time -- You’ll make it look so easy
